The Happy Valley–Goose Bay Housing and Homelessness Coalition (HVGBHHC) is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate for the full-time temporary position of Housing Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its senior housing and support programs. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role provides leadership in housing administration, tenant relations, policy compliance, and program coordination to ensure safe, stable, and supportive housing for seniors.
Working closely with the Executive Director and Social Worker, the Housing Manager supports tenant selection, maintains accurate records, assists with budgeting and funding initiatives, and helps prevent tenancy issues and evictions. The role requires strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act (NL), human rights legislation, and community-based housing best practices, as well as experience working respectfully with Indigenous communities in Labrador.
